Groupe Alimentaire Nordique, located in Ste-Perpetue (Centre-du-Québec), specializes in food transformation. This 55,000 sq.ft. plant (HACCP and GFSI-SQF certified) is comprised of two production lines, one being completely automated. Nordique recently invested heavily on state-of-the-art equipment. Founded in 2002, the Groupe Alimentaire Nordique presently employs more than fifty people. In addition, the company has its own research and development laboratory where different analysis can be made (ingredients, nutrition facts, life span product, organoleptic, etc.). This laboratory also includes an experimental kitchen designed for product development adhering to the exact same conditions established in the production line. The research and development department is a considerable asset in that it allows for great flexibility and consistency in overall quality assurance.
