Charcuterie L. Fortin is a food processing company specializing in pork products which distributes its production primarily in Quebec. We also export to China, the United States and other countries in South America. The company is located in Lac St-Jean with three factories, two for transformation and one for distribution. All three are HACCP accredited. With the efforts of our qualified staff, we have developed our own products expertise, some of these unique to us. We are recognized producer specialized in the transformation of smoked (ham, bacon and shoulder) and pickled products. The company alone has 80 employees. It is owned in majority by Nutrinor, a powerful regional cooperative owned by more than 1200 farmers, with over 400 employees.
