NEW PROGRAM
"EXPORTATEURS DE CLASSE MONDIALE"
In 2009, with the growth of the agri-food industry as its priority, Transformation Alimentaire Québec (TRANSAQ) applied itself to a strategy of finding and developing markets outside Québec. The aim of this strategy is to contribute to the emergence of world class exporters.
The "Exportateurs de classe mondiale 2009-2010" program financed by the Export Fund of the Québec Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ) has as its specific goals:
• to support businesses’ attempts to export their goods and services;
• to guide businesses toward markets with the best potential;
• to bolster awareness of Québec products;
• to promote linkage and networking activities.
This new program is managed by Agri-food Export Group Québec-Canada. Companies interested in submitting an application should fill out and send their form starting September 28, 2009. A description of the "Exportateur de classe mondiale" program and the application form are available online, on the Agri-food Export Group Québec-Canada website under Les Programmes.
Please note that funds for this program are allowed under an annual basis. The program ends March 31st, 2010 or earlier if the allocated annual budget is exhausted.

Reimbursement
Financial aid for travel and accommodation expenses abroad shall be paid based on a package per company and target area accordingly, i.e.:
Outside Quebec and United States: 800 $
Europe: 1 200 $
Latin America: 1 200 $
Africa and Middle East: 2 000 $
Asia and Oceania: 2 000 $
